Before the first request

1. Open the provider’s API documentation and billing page. Confirm your region, model ID, access eligibility and current quota.
2. Create a key in your own provider account. Keep it out of browser bundles, shared screenshots and public repositories.
3. Use the documented API base URL. A consumer chat URL is not an API endpoint.
4. Start with a short input and a small output limit. Check the response and account usage before automating a batch.

Use one task to check the integration

For a supplier quote, extract quantity, currency, unit price, MOQ and missing terms. The request builder and JSON checker give you a fictional input and a field checklist. A syntactically valid response still needs source verification.
